Sour Orange Wid Condense Milk Fort Lauderdale Concert reviews
Lucky Number Seven!
Great melodic SoCal punk band, Time Again, was the first opener. I really enjoyed their set at the Fine Line or even First Ave. Wouldn't mind seeing them headline.
The nephew and I both had a great time at my seventh Sour Orange Wid Condense Milk show and my nephew's first. We both had a blast and enjoyed ourselves.
I was seeing two of my favorite bands together on this fifth time seeing Dropkick Murphys, who always put on a fun, energetic show that was second on the bill. This made it even more worthwhile.
Sour Orange Wid Condense Milk finally took the stage, opening with "Stuff Is Messed Up." The crowd was worked into a frenzy throughout their set. There was an interlude of sorts halfway through, with songs incorporating acoustic guitars and even a piano. It's great to be able to rest a bit and be able to focus on what's going on onstage rather than look out for crowd-surfers.
My nephew's first time in the pit went better than I thought. He was able to survive up until the last half-hour of the entire night. I'd like to think I prepared him well enough for what to expect in advance and now he knows what to anticipate the next time he gets floor tickets to a show.
